If you don’t like wasting time, match an excellent eating plan to the best exercise for weight loss, and you will shed fat quickly and effectively.

Keep it simple by eating foods that are unprocessed and highly nutritious, while focusing on intense, fat burning workouts and cardio routines.

My go-to, best exercise for weight loss are sprint intervals, burning a whopping 1675 calories per hour for a 205 pound person according to Nutristrategy.

Sprint intervals also pair as a HIIT workout, giving you an afterburn effect, allowing you to burn even more calories.

But if you are not so much into sprinting, try a list of my 15 other best exercises for weight loss:

If I’m not exercising specifically to lose weight, I try to lift weights and play basketball, helping to maintain my weight and give me the health benefits of exercise at the same time.

The best exercise for weight loss for people 50 years or older is swimming.

Swimming is a great low impact exercise you can burn a lot of calories with.

If you can tread water or swim laps, great!

If not, just walking in the water will do you wonders for your weight loss efforts.

Other exercise alternatives include walking, the elliptical, and the stationary bike.

Try a combination of them all to keep it interesting.
